In WG20’s invitation for the CLAUI meeting (SC22/WG20 N847, SC2 N3531, (http://anubis.dkuug.dk/jtc1/culture/docs/n847-claui-no.htm) I was asking to submit agenda suggestions and documents to be discussed by August 9, 2001.
As of today, August 16, 2001, I have not received any document nor any recommended agenda item.
Therefore I am canceling the meeting of the technical direction for Cultural and Linguistic Adaptability and User Interfaces (CLAUI).
WG20 will in its meeting in October 2001 decide, if we are going to extend an invitation for a CLAUI meeting in connection with our next meeting – most likely for the week starting May 20, 2002 in Tromsø, Norway.
I am sorry that I will not be able to meet you all in Malvern (my office). But with nothing to discuss, it is prudent to cancel the planned meeting. I do hope that you are not inconvenienced by this decision.
